Eva completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas, after which she served as a probation officer in Potter County, TX. From there, Eva attended law school at Texas Tech.
After law school graduation, Eva was offered a prestigious clerkship with the Texas Court of Appeals, where she helped to craft appellate law for the entire state of Texas. After completing her clerkship, Eva moved to Albuquerque to work for a one of the best-respected civil defense firms in the state, Madison, Harbour, Mroz & Brennan (now Madison, Mroz, Steinman & Dekleva). She later became the managing attorney for The Hartford Staff Legal Office in New Mexico, where she defended The Hartford insurance company in all kinds of claims for nearly thirteen years in all judicial districts of the State of New Mexico.
In 2014, Eva made the decision to follow her heart into plaintiff’s practice. She began representing injured folks all over the state of New Mexico in claims including tragic wrongful deaths, horrible motorcycle collisions, car crashes of all shapes and sizes, slips/trips/falls, and all kinds of other personal injury cases. She has handled cases involving injuries ranging from whiplash to fatalities, and she has helped injured New Mexicans recover millions of dollars to help put the pieces of their lives back together.

HEATHER K. HANSEN
Heather was born and raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. She received her undergraduate degree in English from Black Hills State University, Spearfish, South Dakota, in 2003. Shortly thereafter, she met and married Albuquerque native Thomas Munro. In 2006, the couple and their growing family moved to Albuquerque and made it their permanent home.
Heather graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2011. As a law student, she was awarded the Clinical Legal Education Association award for Outstanding Clinical Performance for her work with juvenile and disabled clients. She was also awarded top honors in Clinical Law and Employment Law, and was a manuscript editor for the New Mexico Law Review. She began her career as an attorney with one of the oldest and largest civil defense firms in the state of New Mexico, practicing primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and employment defense.
Heather’s career shifted direction in 2013 when she began working on behalf of injured plaintiffs throughout the state of New Mexico. Her practice has focused on all kinds of personal injury cases, including motorcycle crashes, motor vehicle collisions, crashes involving drunk drivers and texting drivers, premises liability torts (including negligent security), cases involving victims of violent crimes (including victims of drive-by shootings and victims of sexual assaults) and insurance coverage cases (including insurance bad faith). Heather has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and awards for injured New Mexicans.
